Today let us examine the effects stupidity has on the human body.

When a swimming pool is about 3.2M deep and a sign specifically states "No diving" on it. It is not very wise to try to dive. Unfortunately, due to stupidity, some people do. These people end up getting getting deep cuts on their upper lip and a chipped right front tooth by crashing into the bottom of a pool. Why do these people crash into the bottom of the pool? Many reasons. But one of them, again due to stupidity, is that these people were too lazy to remove their contact lenses before going for a swim and in the process, did not want to open their eyes underwater because the contact lens might drop out.

The extent of human stupidity is intriguing isn't it?

Ok fine, yes that was stupid. I managed to chip a whole section out of my right front tooth and it hurts like hell now. Well at least the tooth didn't drop out. If it did i wouldn't open my mouth or let anyone see me till i went to the dentist and got a fake tooth put in. Urgh...sucks man, whacked my lip on the bottom too. Lao. Lesson learnt, if you go to the pool in the hopes of seeing a chiobu or two, bad things will happen. Do not be a bad boy. Be a good boy. Only go to the pool to swim. Yes. Ok you can see pics and i'm gonna go see what i'm gonna do about this now. Ciao.

Sorry for the dead blog yah? Just been a lot and a lot and a lot of things happening, i can barely keep up.

Trainings are already 3 times a week not including anything else i do on my own, there's CCAL camp, PSL trainings, Prefect's retreat, Prefect's training and then there's the China judo training trip, sigh...my holidays really don't feel like holidays man.

I just got back from the CCAL camp from monday to thursday, i'm gonna rest today and then tomorrow i got Prefect's retreat to malacca till monday which is basically gonna be a screwing session for everything we screwed up on and we're gonna set plans right for the rest of the year which sucks like hell...then straight after i get back on monday, on tuesday there's PSL training, which will last from 8.30 to 5... Wth... I'm pissed. I have no free time. Nein. Nada. MEI YOU!!!

Screw.

Ok, on a lighter note, i shall recap the CCAP camp expedition on the last day and how out of 12 different groups, my group came in last, the first group reached the end point at 5.30 or so and we reached at 10.30. Yay.

We set off from school to Farrer park around there which our MGR(Map Grid Reference) showed us to be, but the MGR pointed to somewhere to the west of the MRT, but the clues said transportation so we just assumed it was the MRT station and we went there and searched around and discussed where to go for like an hour and a half but still couldn't find the landmarks or signs we had to find to continue. Oh, and our teacher in charge was Mr.Jerry Ang, and we got like an hour of lecture from him on what we did wrong and what we should have done when we couldn't find anything, in which everyone was falling asleep and i don't know what the heck he was talking about anway, so we wasted a lot of time and in the end when we finally found the place it was like....100M away from the MRT and we were quite pissed.

Then we had to travel to potong pasir around there as our next MGR and there was this christian cemetary there near the MRT station, but because Mr. Ang appeared at the MRT station(He was riding his bike to the checkpoints, not walking with us) we all assumed it was near the MRT and searched around there for awhile, until we learnt from our mistakes and decided it wasn't around there and might be inside the cemetary. At first we didn't wanna enter because one of the gates was locked, it's a damn bloody ulu place, it's a CEMETARY and there was this huge sign outside that said "Danger, do not enter" i mean...doh, so we didn't wanna enter lah! But the two signs we were looking for turned out to be inside....yah....so we wasted another half an hour or so. When we found the signs we had to do a challenge which was this funny puzzle thing which is quite complicated to explain but let's just say that all 12 group members had to do it by themselves and err...it took quite some time for everyone to get it. So altogether we wasted maybe an hour and 15 minutes or so. Yeah.

Our next place to go was Tampines Sports complex...which was about 11KM away. Yup. So we walked for about 2 and a half hours, which sucked too...then when we got there we had to do another challenge which involved two buckets fill with water placed across us with a barrier in between and we were supposed to use a long string to figure out a way to get the buckets across, but in the end i came up with the idea of lifting Timothy Chow above the barrier because we're not supposed to touch it and him pulling the bucket just next to the barrier and then Chaolun with his super long Yao Ming like arms just reached over and grabbed it out. In the end we took only at the most 4 minutes or so for the entire challenge and later at the debrief Mitchell was bragging "My group set a record time for this station, only 11 minutes!" and i said "Err....we took 2..." And he got really pissed off and screamed "WHAT?!!?!?!" Hahahah! It was damn farnie.

Right...then at every checkpoint we elect new group leaders to lead the group and all this while it was volunteering...but somehow at this checkpoint Mr.Ang picked me and Choon Wing to be the leader and assistant leader so we were a bit taken aback, but ok fine i'll do it. So we left for our next destination which was....err...some white sands shopping center or something and along the way, our instructor, Jerwin, fell back at a traffic light to talk to Mr.Ang and suddenly we turn back and they're both gone...and so we start panicking a bit and we message the head teacher Mr.Jeffrey Chan to ask about it and he asks if we broke contact and then dao's us...more on that later. Yah, so we lost our intructor and he has all our checkpoints and so we're a bit the screwed and along the way, Jerry Ang pops up and asks us "where's your instructor?" and he sends the rest of the group along their way but calls me and Choon Wing to stay back and talks to us..yah..no lah no, not obvious he took our instructor away...then he didn't wanna give his handphone number to us either even though we saw he had a handphone...ok fine, so we reach white sands and he says we now have to look for him and if he doesn't turn up we might have to backtrack all the way back to where we lost him which was like......4KM away or something like that. So ok fine, we go and look for him, splitting up into groups of 2 and leaving two people behind to guard the bags, Cliffton and Timothy Chow. Then we search and don't find him at all and when we get back from searching and head count everyone, Timothy Chow is missing. So we ask Cliffton where he went and he says that Mr. Ang took him away to talk to him and now he's gone. And at that second, Jerwin suddenly appears out of nowhere licking an ice cream cone...right...so Mr.Ang now says "One of your group members is missing, now you have to look for him" and then Cliffton says "Sir, he went away with you" And Mr.Ang replies "Well, he came to talk to me but now i don't know where he is" I'm sure lah...then just as we're about to go and search, he comes up to me and whispers "look for Tim at the second level of the shopping center" Wow...psychic siah...so i head up there and oh wow, Tim is in the macdonalds at the second floor stoning. Then we come back and debrief and we haven't even found our sign at the checkpoint yet but he wants to change group leaders already. Ok, maybe it's just coincidence, but doesn't it seem a bit strange that he purposely picked me and Choon wing to lead when all this shit happened? And strange that he "somehow" knew where everyone was and that Jerwin and Tim Chow "mysteriously vanished"? Anyway i was quite pissed after that and didn't talk to anyone for quite some time, but i got over it...hell, it's not my fault, i'm not gonna blame myself for it. So we lose about another 2 hours of time again....yup.

So we hike hike hike again, and end up at Pasir Ris park and we had to do another challenge and it was quite funny, we took a picture before and after we did the challenge and one picture it's bright and sunny but in the other it's dark....wow....yup that's how long we took. We had a short break after that and oh, how nice, after the break, we have an equipment check and one of the tents is missing and Mr.Ang coincidentally walks up and dumps a tent in front of the group. Wow.

We get another lecture.

Then we had to hike all the way to our end point at Changi Village which is another about 12 or so KM and it's already like 8+ and everyone's dead tired, we didn't even eat lunch, but we trudge on...Along the way i tried to keep everyone's spirits up, leading a lot of cheers, singing songs, cracking jokes, and i think it helped, we were all quite light hearted even though our feet felt like they weighed more than an elephant. And when we were reaching there, about 2.5 more KM left or something, Mr.Ang tricked us. Again. "you have to be there by 10PM or you will have another location to travel to" I knew it once he said it it couldn't be true, but i thought it was a good idea because it'd boost everyone's morale so i made use of it and kept reminding the guys we had to be there by 10PM and everyone half ran the whole way there which was really cool, but they gave us the wrong MGR and when we reached there they'd actually send someone to tell us the exact location, but because we were so late nobody was there and we Mr.Ang said we were wrong and everyone was really frustrated but he just told us where it was and everyone quickly went there as fast as we could and when we finally saw the campsite and everyone was there and we saw the finish everyone really ran all the way there and we were cheering all the different cheers and screaming our hearts out it was really really cool. It's something i'll never forget, that feeling of reaching the finish with all our group members cheering their hearts out was really really...extraordinary.

Right, so after that we're the last group to arrive at like 10.30 and we have our debrief, clean up as best as possible, and the other groups were really nice they cooked and helped us pitch our tents and so we cleaned up for them and lights out was at 11.30, but at 12.05, Mr.Ang wanted to talk to us about the tent that we "lost" so we had to sit down and discuss it and nobody knew who carried the tent there and i can't say i blame anyone, all of us were so dead tired that it's really easy to just forget about the tent. He almost wanted to take one of the tents back and make 12 of us squeeze into 2 tents, but if he did that i think we'd seriously err...do something quite bad, so lucky he didn't. Right, and that's the end of the expedition, and when we got back into our tents and put our heads down, i blacked out and i didn't even wake up in the middle of the night i just slept the whole way through and only woke up in the morning. Man, it was really painful. I got sunburned too, now i look as red as a...tomato. Well, my face and arms anyway, i got a T-shirt design on my skin now, heh.

It was a long hard camp and i missed a lot of things back home, but well, it was very worth it, the first 2 days were a bit crappy, but man, the expedition was really good even though i'm still aching my ass off now.

Ok that's it for my entry, really long isn't it? Kewlness....

Bye bye.
